We were saddened to hear of the passing of Jim Scott. Jim joined the Executive of Fife Golfing Association in 1999, taking up the post of Honorary Secretary the following year. He remained in that post till he retired at the 2014 AGM. Jim was a very active member of the championship committee and, as Fife’s representative at Scottish Golf gatherings, he was never slow in taking the national body to task when required.
An Honorary Member and stalwart of Leven Thistle, he will be much missed. Our thoughts are with Jim’s family at this sad time.
