Fifteen junior teams competed today at Pitreavie Golf Club in the Junior Team Championship 2026.

The weather conditions were excellent throughout the day, with perfect sunshine accompanied by a bit of a breeze, while the course was presented in superb condition and received many favourable comments from players and officials alike.

It was lovely to have a record number of teams competing this year. It was also great to see young golfers from Pitreavie, Anstruther, and Saline coming out and experiencing junior golf at a high level.

A huge thank you goes to all of the staff at Pitreavie Golf Club for their excellent support and hospitality during the event. Thanks also to the Fife Golf volunteers whose efforts ensured the smooth running of the competition from start to finish.

Congratulations to the winning team:

1st Place – St Andrews – 226
2nd Place – St Andrews 2 – 239
3rd Place – Leven Golfing Society – 245

Very well done to everyone who took part, and we hope to see you all again next year.

Finally, two golf clubs and a black Titleist cap were left behind following the event. These items have been handed in and can be collected from behind the bar at the clubhouse.
