After miserable weather for the quarter finals and the semi-finals, we were blessed with a glorious evening to play the final yesterday.  Dunnikier Park golf course was in fine condition, a great stage for these golfers.  Derek Paton took an early lead with a high standard of golf being played by both.

Steven Lee returned a dogged performance with a few putts lipping out.  It was a great final to showcase the Fife Golf Gents Matchplay Final.  Played in great spirit and quality golf.

Thank you to the Fife Golf Trust, Dunnikier Park GC, Evelyn, and her team in the Clubhouse.  Chris and his greenkeeping team for presenting the course and the spectators that came out to support and encouragement.

Congratulations to Derek for a 4 & 3 win!
