Fife Golf Under 18s Matchplay Championships

On a bright sunny day at the Kittocks, with a stiff SW wind. Conditions were more testing than the Strokeplay on Tuesday, just sunnier.

Jack and Sam played out a classic to and fro matchplay final. The lead swung back and forward between the players. One going 3 up early on, then the other winning numerous holes back to back. Finally, hands were shaken on the 16th Green, Jack Small winning by 3 & 2. It is a credit to these 2 guys who played in last year’s final, that time Sam coming out on top.

Jack also won the Strokeplay round played on Tuesday, very well done to you!

Eilidh Kirkpatrick won the girls Strokeplay round played on Tuesday, very well done to you to!

Again enough can’t be said about the efficiency and professionalism shown by the staff for all 3 days. The Fairmont golf team offers an excellent service for individuals, groups, and events.
