Aberdour Golf Club played host to a fantastic day of competition at the Fife Men’s Team Championship yesterday, with teams from across the region battling it out on a course presented in superb condition.

Home advantage proved decisive as Aberdour GC claimed first place with an impressive total of 275 points, securing the championship title on their own turf. Their consistent scoring and strong team performance set the benchmark for the field.

Close behind were St Andrews, finishing in second place with 277 points, just two shots adrift of the leaders in what was a tightly contested event. Rounding out the podium positions was Level Golfing Society, who posted a solid 283 points to take third place.

While the team competition delivered plenty of excitement, Ryan Walsh stole the spotlight and achieved the feat of a hole-in-one at the 7th.

Special thanks go to Aberdour Golf Club for hosting the event. The course was presented in fantastic condition, a testament to the hard work of the greenkeeping staff and all those involved behind the scenes. Their efforts ensured the players could enjoy the course at its very best, contributing to the success of the day.

Gratitude is also extended to the Fife Golf Volunteers, whose dedication and support were vital in running the championship smoothly.
