The Fife Golfing Association (FGA) is delighted to announce help for local junior golfers.
A generous donation has been made by The Jamieson Family of St Andrews, and 'The Ayton Fund' has been set up to provide support to young Fife golfers, in the hope that it will assist them to achieve their potential.
In 2015, funds will be distributed to applicants who play in national championships, and up to £50 per player will be available to help with costs such as entry fees or travelling expenses.
Boys and girls, under the age of 18 at 1st January 2015, are encouraged to apply, although preference will be given to those who are under 16.
It is hoped that 'The Ayton Fund' will help junior golf for many years to come, and at least £500 will be available per year.
Applications should be made as soon as possible, but not later than 31st May 2015. Contact the FGA Secretary, David McPherson ( This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ) for further details.
